A quick and easy step to ensure that you avoid this from happening, and are getting the most out of your cleaning powder for back-flushing, is to slightly fill your cleaning blank with hot water before using it with the powder to back-flush the machine. Whether this is from a hot water boiler or from the water tap on your machine, this allows the powder to begin dissolving before you start the back-flushing process and will help to prevent any of the powder building up inside the head of the machine and causing blockages and build-up which could potentially give you issues with using the equipment.
